Maymunarnika

Maimunarnika is an iconic open-air venue located in the heart of Sofia's Borisova Garden, near Orlov Most, Vasil Levski Stadium, and the Lily Lake. Established in 1958, it quickly became a magnet for young and free-spirited individuals drawn to its distinctive and contemporary music scene. The name "Maimunarnika" originated from descriptions of visitors' dances as "monkey tricks and movements." ​

Over the years, Maimunarnika's open stage has hosted hundreds of memorable concerts featuring both Bulgarian and international artists, solidifying its role as an integral part of Sofia's musical and cultural landscape. With a capacity exceeding 2,700 for concerts and 400 seated places, the venue is suitable for a variety of events, including performances, theater shows, open-air film screenings, conferences, and team-building activities. ​
